Eamon is a Human Behavior integrator at DNA Behavior, and one of Ireland’s leading independent fee based financial planners. His single goal is to help clients make wise decisions with their money now and for the rest of their lives especially in the areas of investing and retirement planning. Further, he is a leading thought leader in the financial services industry on behavioral finance and practice management strategies that leverage human behavioral insights.
His opinion is regularly sought by the Financial Media and he frequently writes columns for leading national newspapers. Also, he is an experienced presenter and workshop leader on behavioral finance and practice management topics.
Both Eamon’s business and family home are based in the North Dublin town of Malahide and having played water polo for over 25 years he now focuses on golf, albeit not too well, to meet his competitive needs.

Eamon has a long involvement in Irish financial matters having been one of the inaugural judges for the Moneymate Investment Awards before representing the Irish Brokers Association for several years as a board member with the life assurance technology company, Assurelink. In 1994 he was an examiner for the financial educational body The Life Insurance Association, before becoming the editor of its technical journal “The Professional” from 1995 to 1997. He was appointed to the board of directors of the LIA in 2000, becoming its President in 2004. From 2008 to 2010 he served on the Council of the IBA as well as its Public Relations and Management Committees while in 2009/10 he chaired the IBA’s Financial Services Committee.
He holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (First Class Honours) from University College Dublin and is an accredited CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and a Fellow of the Life Insurance Association (FLIA).
